DRIPs & IRAs
Under most circumstances, it is not a simple matter to include stocks held in a dividend reinvestment plan in an IRA. But for investors who are committed to the idea of building an IRA through dividend reinvestment plans, there are at least three options available:
- Self-Administered IRA Accounts
- DRIP-Sponsored IRA Accounts
- Reinvesting Dividends in Brokerage IRA Accounts
Each of these options will be explored in the next sections.
